Team Celestial GEMS consists of four girls from a group called South Bay GEMS - Girls in Engineering, Math, Science. The group meets periodically to experience many activities in the STEM field. They go on field trips to places such as Space X, they learn 3D printing designs and participate in The Mars Medical Challenge, and they also build their own robots at Rolling Robots - an innovative tech center where kids can play, learn, and grow with technology and robots. This time, Team Celestial GEMS is participating in the Moonbots Challenge to make their contribution to the mission to the Moon!

Here are the team members:

Jillian Mackenzie Farley - A 12-year-old girl who is in 6th grade. She participated on VEX IQ and VEX Robotics Competition Teams. She likes to playing soccer. Her favorite subject in school is math.

Parker Louise Evans - An 11-year-old girl who is in 5th grade. She likes dancing, math, theatre, and technology. She lives in Redondo Beach, California.

Isabel Roisin Careyes Gross - An 11-year-old girl who is in 6th grade. She has lived in China for three years. She now lives in Hermosa Beach CA. She likes tennis, reading, and technology.

Sophia Michelle Keel - An 11-year-old girl who is in 6th grade. She likes to play goalie in soccer.

Ms. Bing Jiang - the team captain from Rolling Robots. She works to help children learn and grow in STEM and Robotics.
