Our team is made up of four people with different areas of expertise, including Team Captain Georgescu Tiberiu, Iliescu Nicolas, Zamfir Răzvan and Iote Vlad Mihai.

Developing our strengths in both robotics and the scientific studies of Space in contests such as the First Tech Challenge and NASA's Space Settlement design contest, we combine them into the AstroNautilus project, which is designed to make moon colonization a much less difficult task which requires less human intervention. By installing an autonomous robot on the surface of the Moon which will handle the construction of an inhabitable module for humans using already-available materials such as metals in the regolith and frozen water lakes, we can leave most of the heavy lifting of setting up a lunar colony to advanced machinery, therefore pushing the boundaries of innovation to the next level.

We are more than excited to share our vision with you and take at least a small part in making it reality.
